Refund policy

At Amber Lab, we are committed to delivering authentic, high-quality fragrances and products with care and transparency. To protect the integrity of the items we sell and ensure the best possible experience for all customers, we have established the following return policy.

Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return:

  •  Your item must be unused, unworn, and unsprayed
  • It must be in the same condition as received, with original, undamaged packaging
  • Cellophane wrap (if applicable) must remain unopened
  • All original tags, serial numbers, barcodes, and proof of purchase must be intact
  • The return must be initiated within 14 days of delivery
  • Samples and testers are final sale and are not eligible for return or refund.
  • This applies to perfumes, room sprays, and any spray-based products.
  • Once a return label is issued, the product must be shipped back to us within the 14-day return-policy window. Return labels are valid for 14 days. Items shipped after this period may no longer be eligible for a refund.
  • Amount will be refunded with in 7 business days once we receive the product.

❌ We do not accept returns on:

  • Samples (1.5ml / 2ml/ 5ml / 10ml )
  • Candles
  • Cosmetics & skincare
  • Gift cards 
  • Final Sale Product
  • Discovery Sets

These items are final sale due to hygiene, safety concerns, and market risks.

How to Start a Return

  • Email us at support@amberlab.com with your order number, reason for return, and photos (if needed). We’ll guide you through the next steps. Refunds will be processed within 7 business days after we receive and inspect the returned product. Bank processing times may vary.

    Note: If you choose to purchase shipping insurance with your order, please note that the cost of shipping insurance is non-refundable. In the event that you return the product, the shipping insurance fee will not be refunded, as it covers the shipment protection provided at the time of delivery.

Return Shipping and Refunds

  • Return shipping costs must be paid by the customer or will be deducted from the final refund
  • Approved returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee, which will be deducted from the refund amount.
  • Refunds will be issued only after inspection and approval
  • If an item is returned opened, damaged, used, tampered with, or missing its original packaging, no refund will be issued.

Note: 

Order Cancellation

You may cancel or make changes to your order as long as Tracking number is not generated. To request a cancellation or modification, please contact our customer support team as soon as possible.

Once a tracking number has been generated, the order can no longer be canceled or modified. Any such requests will be handled as a return and processed according to our return policy. While we’ll always do our best to help, we cannot guarantee that cancellation requests can be accommodated once processing has begun.

Product Verification & Anti-Counterfeit Measures

In light of the increasing circulation of counterfeit fragrance products in the market, all returned products are subject to comprehensive inspection. This includes, but is not limited to,
examination of:

  • Barcodes
  • Batch numbers
  • Serial codes
  • Packaging integrity
  • Signs of tampering or repackaging

If any product returned to Amber Lab is determined to be inauthentic, altered, tampered with, or otherwise not identical to the product shipped to the Customer, the return will be immediately denied, and no refund will be issued.

Amber Lab reserves the right to report suspected fraud or counterfeit activity to the appropriate legal authorities.

Damages and Theft

Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt. If your item is damaged, defective, or you received the wrong product, contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photos and details.

To file a claim:

  • Submit clear photos of the shipping box, product packaging, and damaged item’s
  • Damaged items must be returned to us within 7 days

⚠️ Lost or Stolen Packages

Once a package is marked “Delivered” by the carrier, Amber Lab cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen items. If your package is missing, please file a claim directly with the carrier unless you purchased optional Package Protection ( Insurance ) at checkout.

Used Items Policy

Any of the following will disqualify an item from a return/refund:

  • Broken seals
  • Any sign of use (e.g., spraying)
  • Delivered 2ml samples
  • Delivered Discovery sets

All discovery sets or 2ml samples returned will be classified as used and are non-refundable.
